How does it count my reps?

The camera watches you and counts. Go halfway down and the rep doesn't count, so there's no cheating your way to a win.

How does a 1v1 duel work?

You get matched with someone at your level and you both go for 60 seconds. Whoever does more reps wins and climbs the weekly ranking.

Do I need an account? Does my video get uploaded?

No account, and no. Your video stays on your phone — nobody sees it, not even us.

What do I need to start?

An iPhone on iOS {iosVersion} or newer and room to prop it up a couple of metres away. There is no Android version.

What's free and what's Premium?

Free: the five exercises, the whole first world and duels up to level 3. Premium opens everything else.

Agreement

These terms govern your use of the Rep Battle iPhone app and this website. By using either, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Rep Battle on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, rent, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Rep Battle is a game, not medical advice

Rep Battle is a fitness game. It is not a medical device and it does not provide medical, diagnostic, therapeutic or professional fitness advice. Nothing in the app is a treatment plan or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

Exercise safely — this part matters

Physical exercise carries risk of injury. You are responsible for exercising within your own ability and in a safe space. Consult a doctor before starting any exercise programme, particularly if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or illness, or have any cardiovascular, musculoskeletal or other health condition. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Do not place your iPhone where it can fall on you, and make sure you have clear space around you before you start a session.

Acceptable use

Do not use Rep Battle to harass other players, to manipulate duel results or leaderboard standings, or to interfere with the app’s operation or with Apple Game Center. We may remove access to online features from anyone who does.

Content and ownership

Rep Battle, its name, artwork, characters, audio, copy and code are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. The licence above does not transfer any ownership to you.

No warranty

Rep Battle is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Camera-based rep counting is an estimate produced by on-device computer vision; it can miscount, and we do not warrant that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or free of error.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of Rep Battle. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes and contact
